ImReady

At our sixth annual ImReady Movement Conference, our team was transformed by the community, wisdom, and power that was shared. Our attendees flew in from all over the US and its territories including Hawai’i, Wisconsin, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Portland, Southern California and other places across the country.

 

Ending racial and gender violence is exhausting, painful, and violent work but we are reminded through each ImReady conference that there are hundreds of people (if not more) who have joined us in this movement! We learned to create joy for ourselves and for our communities with food, music, and dancing. At ImReady 2024, we were reminded about the brilliance of our communities’ stories of resistance and power. This is the new world we are building. We are grateful to hold these gatherings and be in community with you all. Thank you for being in community with us. Let us keep building new worlds together.
