Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Saturday, October 4 · 11am – 4pm PDT
Oakland, CA

(Part 2 of our Get Ready, Stay Ready: Building Our Power 3-part series)

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we’re holding a space that centers us — our healing, our power, our story.

Saturday, October 4, 2025
11AM–4PM PT
Oakland, CA (address shared after RSVP)

As an organization working to end gender-based violence, we know these are difficult times — violence is rising, and safety feels further away for many. This gathering is a response. A place where survivors and allies can:

  • Learn practical safety skills
  • Share stories of survival and resistance
  • Be guided in gentle healing practices
  • Rest in community with others
  • Witness and be witnessed, without pressure or expectation
  • Attendees will also receive vital resources to support their safety planning, including emergency go-bags.

This event especially centers Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (ANHPI) survivors, but all are welcome. Sliding scale tickets and scholarships are available.

We see you. We honor you. We hope you’ll join us.
